The short answer

Put one clear action first, usually a free discovery call. Then show your signature program, one or two client results, and a simple way for people who are not ready to stay in touch. Keep it to five or six blocks and say who you help in the first line.

Linkerzz makes a link-in-bio page builder and is not affiliated with Instagram, TikTok or any other app named here.

On this page
  1. The short version
  2. 1. Say who you help, in one line
  3. 2. Make the first button the one you want clicked
  4. 3. Show one signature offer
  5. 4. Add proof from real clients
  6. 5. Give people who are not ready a way to stay
  7. What to leave off
  8. Check what works
  9. Set it up in ten minutes

A coaching client rarely books from your feed. They like a post, tap your profile, tap your link and decide in about ten seconds whether you are the person they have been looking for. Your link in bio is where that decision happens, so it needs to answer three questions fast: who do you help, what do you offer, and what should they do next?

This guide shows how to build that page. We use Linkerzz, which has a template for coaches, but the ideas work on any tool.

The short version

Put one clear action first. Show one offer, not a menu. Add proof. Give people who are not ready a gentle way to stay in touch. Everything else is optional.

1. Say who you help, in one line

Your profile line should name the person and the change: “Career coach for new managers who feel stuck” tells a visitor more than “Helping you become the best version of you”. Specific beats inspiring. A visitor should be able to tell within a second whether the page is for them.

2. Make the first button the one you want clicked

For most coaches that is “Book a free discovery call”. Put it at the top and make it the most visible thing on the page.

  • A booking calendar. Add a Calendly or Cal.com card. On Linkerzz it loads only when someone taps it, which keeps your page fast and means no third party is contacted before a visitor asks.
  • A short enquiry form. If you prefer to talk before you schedule, add a contact form. Messages arrive in your Linkerzz inbox, and on Pro you also get an email for each one.
  • WhatsApp. If your clients already message you there, add a WhatsApp button with a first message written for them, such as “Hi, I would like to know more about coaching”. Our free WhatsApp link generator builds the link.

Pick one as the main action. A calendar, a form and three social links side by side make people hesitate.

3. Show one signature offer

Resist listing every package, course and workshop you have ever run. Choose the offer you most want to sell and give it a card: a picture, a title, one line on the result, and a button. If you have a second offer for a different stage of client, add it below, but keep the first one prominent.

A visitor who is unsure what to buy will usually not buy. A visitor who sees one clear next step is far more likely to take it.

4. Add proof from real clients

Coaching is a promise about a change in someone’s life, so people look for evidence that you have helped someone like them. Add one or two short testimonials. On Linkerzz a Quote block holds up to 300 characters plus the client’s name, which is just enough for a result in their own words.

The best testimonials say what changed, not just that the client enjoyed working with you: “In three months I went from dreading Mondays to leading my first team meeting.” Ask for permission before you publish anything, and use real words from real clients.

5. Give people who are not ready a way to stay

Most visitors will not book a call on the first visit. If you have a newsletter, a free guide or a podcast, give it a link block so they can keep hearing from you. Linkerzz links out to your newsletter page or podcast rather than collecting email addresses itself, so use the signup page of whichever tool you already have.

If you post videos, an embed card for a YouTube talk lets people watch you speak before they decide. On the free plan one embed is included.

What to leave off

  • Every social network you have. One row of icons at the bottom is enough, and your followers are already on the platform they came from.
  • A long story. Your “about me” belongs on a page of its own, linked once.
  • Prices you are not ready to defend in public. If your coaching is bespoke, say what is included and invite an enquiry.

Check what works

Linkerzz shows how many people viewed your page and tapped each link. The daily chart is on every plan, and free accounts see the three most tapped links. If many people view the page but few tap the call button, change the button text or move it higher before you change anything else.

Set it up in ten minutes

  1. Create a free account and choose the coaches starter.
  2. Replace the example links, your profile photo and the sample testimonial with your own. The editor lists everything that still needs changing, and you cannot publish until the placeholders are gone.
  3. Add your booking card or contact form, then your signature offer.
  4. Add one testimonial and your newsletter link.
  5. Publish and paste your address into your Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok bios.

The free plan gives you one page of up to 7 blocks. Pro adds up to 5 pages, more blocks and your own web address on a subdomain you control, such as links.yourname.com. See the pricing page for the full list.

Frequently asked questions

What should a coach put in a link in bio?

A button to book a discovery call, your main program or offer, a client testimonial and a way to follow along, such as your newsletter or a free resource.

How many links should a coach have?

Five or six. Every extra link makes the main action, usually booking a call, less likely to be chosen.

How can people book a call from my page?

Add a Calendly or Cal.com card. On Linkerzz it loads only when someone taps it, so the page stays quick. Or use the contact form and reply from your inbox.

Can I show client testimonials?

Yes. A Quote block holds up to 300 characters and the client's name. Ask the client for permission before you publish it.

Is it free?

The free Linkerzz plan gives you one page with up to 7 blocks and every theme. Pro adds more blocks, your own web address and an email for each contact message.
