Linktree alternative: when to switch and how to do it

linktree alternativeThe short answer
Linktree works well for many people, so switch only if something is missing: your own web address, no branding on a free page, a template for your kind of work, or a price that fits. Compare those points, then set up a Linkerzz page next to your Linktree. Your Linktree page is never touched, so you can test before you commit.
Linkerzz makes a link-in-bio page builder and is not affiliated with Instagram, TikTok or any other app named here. Facts about other apps were checked on October 16, 2026. Apps change their menus often, so trust the app's own help page if yours looks different.
On this page
If you already have a Linktree and it works, you do not have to move. It is the best-known tool, and for many people it does the job. This guide is for the people who feel something is missing, and it tells you what to compare before you switch, what you give up, and how to move without breaking anything.
What Linktree offers
We read Linktree’s own pricing page on 16 October 2026. It lists four plans: Free, Starter, Pro and Premium. The Free plan includes unlimited links, standard design options and basic analytics. Starter adds more design control and link scheduling, Pro adds advanced analytics and monetisation tools, and Premium adds commerce features and the removal of Linktree branding. Prices vary by region, so check the live page for your price.
On custom domains, Linktree’s own pages disagree. Its help center, updated on 12 October 2026, says custom domains are not supported, while its features page lists them under Pro. If a custom domain matters to you, confirm with Linktree before you pay.
Reasons people look for an alternative
Nothing here is a flaw. These are simply things you may want that a different tool does better for your case:
- Your own web address, such as links.yourname.com, instead of a shared one.
- No branding on a free page, or a smaller one.
- A template made for your work. A real estate agent and a photographer need different pages.
- A price that fits what you actually use.
- Built-in ways to be contacted or paid, such as a contact form, a WhatsApp button or a UPI payment block.
If none of these applies to you, staying put is a perfectly good choice.
What to compare
Before you move, write down what you need and check each tool against it:
- Cost for the features you will really use, not only the headline price.
- What the free plan includes, and whether it shows branding.
- Your own domain, and which plan it needs.
- Templates and design, and whether it looks right for your work.
- Ways for people to act: a form, a booking card, WhatsApp, a payment link.
- Analytics, and how much of it is on the free plan.
- How easy it is to leave. Can you export or move your links later, or would you start over?
We compared four tools on exactly these points, with prices checked from each company’s own pages, in Best link in bio tools in 2026.
Where Linkerzz fits, and where it does not
Good fit if you want a page with a template made for your work, such as real estate, photography, coaching or freelancing, with a contact form, a WhatsApp button and booking cards, and your own subdomain on the paid plan.
On the free plan you get one page with up to 7 blocks, every theme and basic analytics, with a small Linkerzz badge. Pro lets you connect your own subdomain, keep up to 5 pages, use up to 50 blocks, remove the badge and get an email for each contact message. See the pricing page for the full list.
Not the best fit if you want to sell products from your page. Linkerzz is not a shop: it has WhatsApp and UPI payment links and a contact form, but it does not host products. It is also newer and smaller than the big tools.
How to move
- Claim your name and create a free account.
- Choose a template that fits your work, such as real estate agents or photographers.
- Type in your links, swap in your own photo, pick a look and publish.
- Put your new address in your bio. Keep your Linktree running until you have done this, so nobody hits a dead link.
Linkerzz does not import from Linktree, so open your Linktree in another tab and copy your links across. Your Linkerzz statistics start fresh from the day you publish.
A fair test
Because Linkerzz never touches your Linktree, the safest way to decide is to try it. Build a page next to it, look at the result, and share the new link with a friend. If it is better, swap the address in your bio. If it is not, you have lost nothing.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best free Linktree alternative?
It depends on what you need. Several tools have free plans. Linkerzz's free plan gives you one page with up to 7 blocks, every theme and basic analytics. For a side-by-side look at four tools, read our comparison guide.
Will switching delete my Linktree page?
No. Linkerzz never connects to your Linktree account. Your Linktree stays exactly as it is until you decide to remove it or change the link in your bio.
Can I import my Linktree into Linkerzz?
Not right now. Linkerzz does not have an import from Linktree, so you add your links yourself. A page usually takes a few minutes, and a template for your kind of work gives you a starting point.
Can I use my own domain instead of linktr.ee?
On Linkerzz Pro you can connect a subdomain you own, such as links.yourname.com. For Linktree, its help center says custom domains are not supported, while another Linktree page lists them under Pro, so check with Linktree before you rely on it.
How long does it take to switch?
Allow about ten minutes to pick a template, type in your links and publish. Keep your Linktree running until your new address is in your bio.
